fabric opened in a former meat storage cellar just north of London’s original square mile in 1999, transforming the global underground. Through its regular Friday, Saturday and Sunday series, legendary one-off collabs and top-tier cast of resident DJs, the venue has continued to push the limits of club curation. In this year alone, it celebrated Andrew Weatherall’s 60th birthday, welcomed the return of Mala’s legendary DEEP MEDi — the label’s first outing at fabric since late 2021 — and held a series of '20 years of Ricardo Villalobos’ sessions, because one party “wasn’t enough”. Bookers also continued the club’s Sunday collaborations with the much-loved WetYourSelf party, and are gearing up for pride with London label Love Child and Amsterdam’s IsBurning.

The iconic location and general industrial charm aside, what really keeps clubbers coming back are those deep-dive house and techno sets that play out on a sound system second to none. First-gen residents Craig Richards and Terry Francis, as well as the newer recruits Anna Wall, Josh Caffé and IMOGEN, all keep the fabric flag flying week in, week out, while old and new-skool ravers keep rooms 1, 2 and 3 warm. More than two decades in and London’s legendary superclub continues to offer some of the most consistent and forward-thinking programming.
