2023 marks 10 years of Studio 338. Long before operating as a club, the space on the Greenwich Peninsula was used as a tavern, a pub, a comedy store and, in the ’90s, a site for illegal raves. The building has had quite an upgrade since, garnering five rooms in total, including an open-air garden, glass-terraced main room and 180° mezzanine. The venue has had a recent facelift too, with rehauled acoustics in the Terrace, new state-of-the-art lighting called THE GRID, and a brand new VIP area. Lilly Palmer, Ilario Alicante, Marco Carola and many more have rocked the VOID sound system in the last 12 months, while resident DJs Andrew Kay, Hypoxia, Kira, and Gerrardo remain regular fixtures every weekend. Key nights include Sankeys, DnB Allstars, Home, LWE, and the club’s in-house event Release, which launched as an offshoot record label this year. Here’s to another 10 years.
