Location: Ibiza, Spain
Pacha has been part of the Ibiza party landscape pretty much since day one. Its hanging cherries make for one of dance music's most iconic logos, and no trip to the Balearics is complete without dancing under them. The venue opened in 1973 in what used to be a farmhouse, and has been on a journey of constant evolution ever since. These days it manages to cater to VIPs who like a touch of pizzazz, as well as serious house and techno heads thanks to being the home of Marco Carola's Music On party, Bedouin's enchanting SAGA, and other long-running events like Solomun+1, Claptone's mysterious Masquerade and the throwback atmosphere and hedonistic sounds of Flower Power. Each beat comes courtesy of the well-tuned d&b audiotechnik sound system and an array of D80 amplifiers and, as 2023 marks its 50th summer, expect plenty of surprises this year.
