Known as “the centre of Hanoi nightlife”, and with two record labels under its belt in Dusted Recordings and now 1900 Records, 1900 has built an indelible reputation as a Burlesque-style haunt for all sorts: from backpackers looking for a little adventure, to more stylish denizens looking for a classy night out on the mezzanine floor. With a student night and ladies night during the week, along with heavyweight DJs such as Egyptian Lover, Agata and Mark Knight occupying the stage on weekends, this massive events space focuses on EDM and hip-hop, with an added Vietnamese live band when the occasion calls for it — but don’t get too carried away here, as doors close at 1AM.
