Location: Montréal, Canada
It might be surprising that a beach club exists in the metropolitan centre of Montréal in Québec, but the huge outdoor venue on an island in the French-Canadian capital’s Lac des Sables is easily one of the hottest clubs in the world. Opened in 1997, the now sprawling tropical-paradise-in-a-temperate-zone has been ranked on an international scale since 2016, and hosted almost every major EDM headliner imaginable.
The club’s biggest show in 2022, according to the Beachclub staff, was the Martin Garrix show, where tickets sold out almost immediately after they were made available. The venue’s also hosted The Chainsmokers, Alesso, Tiësto, and DJ Snake in the last year, just to name a few. Beachclub likes to keep its line-ups a secret until the season opens, but with such a strong track record it’s likely to be another smasher of a summer in 2023. With its beach, pool and barbecue open and operating even when there’s no DJs in sight, this venue is truly one-of-a-kind.
