A brand-new venue in the heart of San Diego just steps from the bay is NOVA SD, a sister club to Exchange LA. San Diego can be bereft of club venues as the small downtown area holds mostly low-capacity pop venues, but now with the Insomniac group at the helm, the 19,000-square-foot NOVA is ready to rave. With high ceilings, a heavy sound system and an even heavier roster of acts coming to San Diego’s Gaslamp quarter this year, NOVA will see the likes of Acraze, San Holo, Dillon Francis, Henry Fong, Valentino Khan, Sub Focus, ATLiens and Yellow Claw play.
