Eric Prydz
| NEW ENTRY

Eric may have first made friends courtesy of some bikini-clad girls and a Winwood sampled 'Call On Me' back in 2004, but it's with his labels Mouseville, Pryda and Pryda Friends that he's really influencing people. He brought beauty to the underground courtesy of tracks including 'Punch Drunk' and 'Horizons' on Mouseville, 'Fatz Theme' on Joia Records and 'Remember', 'Rymd' and 'Armed' on Pryda Recordings.
"The ethos behind the labels was truly underground, scarcely any promotion, no press intrusion and true label/design identity," says Prydz. "Because when it comes to music I'm a total control freak, everything about it has to be perfect."
His perfection seeking works, as DJs including Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Herman Cattaneo and Robbie Riveria make Pryda the backbone of their sets.

Prydz is the DJ De Niro of the Swedish House Mafia and when he joins fellow Swedes in the studio the result stuns. As his collaborations with Axwell - first for Paolo Mojo's '1983' and then together as Axer's '123' and '321' - proved.
Of course, you can't mention Prydz without a nod to 2006's 'Proper Education'. Sampling Pink Floyd, Eric went where the Scissor Sisters never dared therefore guaranteeing a global hit.
