Adam Beyer
| RE-ENTRY

Swedish techno pioneer Adam Beyer has toured the US, Japan and Australia this year and been a fixture at all of the usual festivals - I Love Techno, Nature One, Awakenings and Mayday - but he's also performed in some more unusual places. One of his favourite gigs was at the Pawn Shop during WMC in Miami.
"It was great to find the Pawn Shop - it was one of my favourite gigs," he says. "Womb in Japan was also superb and a highly-recommended festival called Labyrinth in Japan. It takes place on a mountain and it's one of the best festivals I have ever been to."
Back in Europe, Beyer held down a five-gig residency at Mauro Picotto's Meganite in Ibiza and cites Fabric, Berlin's Berghain and Amnesia in Milan as some of his memorable club gigs.

Despite such a hectic gig schedule, Beyer's also been busy in the studio, providing remixes for Len Faki, Skoozbot, Slam, Michael Ho, Bart Skills, Mauro Picotto and Hearthrob. It's no wonder then that he only released two EPs - 'China Girl' and 'Relapse' - this year.

His plans for 2008 include a mix CD for Belgian club Fuse, while he will also concentrate on his labels.
"I'll have a string of releases and remixes on Drumcode and Truesoul from people like Perc, Joey Beltrm, Len Faki, 2000 and One, Paco Osuna, Kyle Geiger, Hardcell, Pär Grindvik and Ortin Cam," he explains. "I'll also take Drumcode to the next level with more shows and promotion."
