Despite successful solo careers, it's little wonder that Deep Dish have stayed in the Top 100 for yet another year, such is the force of the pair when they occasionally DJ together. In addition to two massive singles, Sharam has continued to work on his album 'Get Wild' - "There has been a lot of delays due to wacky labels in the UK," he says - while Dubfire's Sci-Tec empire has just grown and grown. "I've been able to sign a lot of great music," Dubfire says of his year. "People like Timo Maas, Radio Slave and a lot of new emerging talent. We've got a full release schedule up to the middle of next year now." Interestingly, both have moved to Traktor Scratch in 2008, Dubfire relishing the fact that not needing to beatmatch anymore frees him to loop and effect any track on-the-fly. They've taken the digital DJing tool right around the world, Sharam loving Eastern Europe and Dubfire enjoying his first gig for Cocoon in Ibiza. "Bathroom breaks are a challenge," quips Sharam of the solo life, but is this the end of Deep Dish? "We still really good friends," says Dubfire. "We never ruled out working together, we're just too busy with our solo stuff."
