Currently incommunicado, Justice are slaving over a hot mixing desk, probably even as you read this. Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay have decided the time is right to give everyone what they have been waiting for - a follow up to their critically applauded, but tricky to type, debut album '†'. Work is currently in progress. It's been a hectic year for the French duo since last year's Top 100 DJs list was revealed. Not least of their achievements has been scooping themselves a Grammy award - they took home the gong for Best Remixed Recording for their re-rub of MGMT's 'Electric Feel', deftly avoiding Kanye West while they were at it - while U2 picked them to remix the lead track 'Get Your Boots On' from their last album 'No Line On The Horizon'. They had a pop at Lenny Kravitz's 'Let Love Rule' too, and turned in a show-stopping performance at the US festival Coachella, in spite of claiming to be quitting live shows altogether just a few months earlier. Doubtless the crowd appreciated their capricious behaviour, if nothing else. Joining Daft Punk's Tron soundtrack in our growing 'French Albums We're Getting A Little Bit Overexcited About' list, their silence on the matter may only serve to bolster the hype.
