Never ones to rest on their considerable laurels, Russian trance prodigies Moonbeam were once again prolific throughout 2011, focusing on three distinct projects, as well as releasing a handful of singles.
The biggest of these is a new album, 'The Secret', but alongside this are - as always - a huge amount of club gigs and festivals (including a stint across Asia, taking in the Seoul World DJ Festival, X2 in Jakarta and M2 in Shanghai), and a new project, Illuminant For Fancy, whose first release, 'No Regrets' saw the duo exploring a new melodic house direction. Moonbeam's packed live schedule provided many of their 2011 highlights (“Gigs at international big festivals in South Korea, France, Mexico, with big DJs like Avicii, David Guetta, Markus Schulz and Judge Jules,” they confirm), and unsurprisingly, 2012 will see them adding to an already bulging discography, via a structured three-point plan.
“[We will be] releasing another Moonbeam album and new singles under Illuminant For Fancy; releasing our debut full-length movie; organising our own Moonbeam Events in the clubs of Europe, and creating the Moonbeam booking agency.” TRISTAN PARKER
