For those who think DJs jet around the world, play a few tunes and basically lord it up, think again.

“I’m on the mend following a bit of pneumonia, post-tour syndrome you know,” says Norway’s Ørjan Nilsen. “It’s always the same after the summertime when you’ve been gigging six days a week.”

He’s also been busy in the studio this year, recently releasing second album ‘No Saint Out of Me’ on Armada, and his third is already on the horizon.

“I’ve already finished four tracks,” he confides, adding that he’s also setting up his own label. “I already have a few releases set up with some amazing new talent as well. Even from my own city, Kirkenes, that’s pretty cool!”

In spite of his workload, he has been able to let loose occasionally, like in Prague one night. “I ended up being a rock star and not remembering anything about that night because I’m not used to drinking any more and ended up sending a text to my manager about peeing in the bathtub!”
