Dutch EDM titan Afrojack AKA Nick van de Wall makes no qualms about his 2014 highlight; the release of his pop-dance blending debut album ‘Forget the World’.

“The reaction from fans all over the world was amazing! I put a lot of time and effort into this record, and I worked with some great artists like Snoop Dogg, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Sting. Though to be completely honest, right now I’m focusing on some cool new projects, so my energy is now with what will be the sequel to ‘Forget the World’.”

Something else weighing heavily in Afrojack’s year was Las Vegas, and it saw him switch from his residency at the Wynn Casino’s XS Nightclub, over to the possibly even glitzier Hakkasan at the MGM Grand Casino. He says Sin City remains one of his favourite places to perform.

“Vegas to me is like an experience in itself, you need to be there to really ‘get it’. As a musician, there’s a lot of people working or living there with the same passion for music. Every time I'm back in Vegas I meet my fellow DJs and friends, and we can go and have a great time.”
