“It's been a crazy ride again. I travelled to a lot of beautiful places.” So says Jeffrey Sutorius, the DJ frontman of the collective known as Dash Berlin. He’s alluding to the fact that after several years ranking in the Top 10 of the Top 100 poll, Dash Berlin seems bigger than ever in 2014.

“Closing the EDC Vegas Festival for the second time was certainly unforgettable. The sold out solo concerts were huge too. I can't complain, things are going really well.”

Also weighing heavily in the year of Dash Berlin was ‘We Are’, an album with a very specific concept behind it. “I wanted to include everybody, because it really is a team effort. Not just the other artists and vocalists that I worked with, but also the fans, the media, the promoters, the clubs, the labels.

We all play a part, and I really wanted to recognise that with this project. The album is doing super good on a global scale, and I'm currently working hard on Part 2”.

The other factor that reflects the vast appeal of Dash Berlin is the newly crowned shrine to EDM that we know as Las Vegas. And he insists there is substance behind the style.

“It's actually fantastic what we've been able to build over the years. My residency at Marquee is one of the biggest nights in Vegas and I'm very proud of that. People from all over the world are partying with us here. It has nothing to do with the EDM hype or whatever you want to call it. We are on top because of the quality. 2015 is going to be even bigger, so make sure you experience it at least once in your life.
