Following in his father’s footsteps to become a DJ was an easy choice for 23-year-old Mexican American DJ Deorro, whose electro house rework of Chuckie & Junxterjack’s ‘Make Some Noise’ helped earn him a bundle of DJ gigs when it came out in 2012.

“Releasing ‘Yee’ on Hardwell’s label in 2013 was a real turning point,” says the LA-based father-of-two, also known as Erick Orrosquieta. “Having a label as big as Revealed supporting you is a blessing.”

Deorro has also released electro house bombs on labels including Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak and Ultra Records. And, when he DJs, he plays a mixture of progressive, electro and Dutch house. “I like to experiment with different sounds, but most of the time it's my voice,” says Deorro, talking about his forthcoming debut album. “The voice has no limit when it comes to experimenting.”
