“This has been the best year by far for us in our short professional career,” say melody-driven Dutch duo Vicetone. In just two years, this young pair (Ruben den Boer and Victor Pool) have racked up some serious achievements, as they recognise. “We’ve passed many milestones this year, from playing the world’s biggest festivals to topping Beatport charts and collaborating with some of our favourite artists.”

Not too shabby for a duo that only began making music together in 2012, especially when the festivals in question include Ultra and TomorrowWorld, and the collaboration is a track with Nicky Romero, ‘Let Me Feel’.

After finishing the remaining date on their ‘Heat’ tour of North America over the rest of 2014, Vicetone are set to unveil something rather special before the year is out.
“We have a very big musical project that we’re finishing up as we write this. It will be released this year and is unlike anything we’ve ever done.” All very intriguing and grand-sounding, but however epic their musical ambitions, it seems there’s no danger of Vicetone forgetting how they arrived at this highly impressive stage. “We’re very grateful for the support our diehard fans keep giving us — they’re the reason we can keep making music.”
