"It's a dream come true,” says Portugal's Ruben de Almeida when asked about his newfound inclusion within our DJ hall of fame. “I believe every DJ dreams of being a part of the Top100 DJs in the world so I’m super happy and consider it an honour to be part of this list of such talented people.”

Better known as Kura, he's been slaying stadiums with the supersonic EDM sound he's been mastering on labels like Protocol, Flashover, Armada and Hardwell's Revealed for over four years now, receiving support from Showtek, Garrix, Dyro and W&W along the way. However, it was 'Bumbershoot' and 'Sabotage' in 2013 and 2014 respectively that really sent him stratospheric, edging him into the poll for the first time this year.

His devastating approach to DJing also got you voting in droves, as his name appeared on bills all over the world alongside all the big names during 2014, but it was his homecoming at Meo Sudoeste that really sticks out in his mind. “To play in my own country and to represent the new generation of DJs there makes me super-proud,” he admits.
