Markus Schulz is, arguably, the hardest working man in trance. A staple of the DJ Mag Top 100 for over a decade, Schulz still plays over 150 shows a year, a number that would make even the most hardened tour DJ wince. 2014 saw Schulz host his first-ever Ibiza residency at Amnesia, an achievement of which he is deservedly proud. 

“[Ibiza] is and remains dance music tradition. Everything else should be judged after it. It has cemented a legacy for over 30 years!”

So what will 2015 spell for trance’s favourite Energizer Bunny? It’s tipped Schulz is set to revive his darker, hard trance alter ego, Dakota. “I’m also playing in my hometown of Miami on New Year’s Eve for the first time in over 10 years with an open to close solo set at the legendary Space! I can’t wait!
