Amsterdam’s Barry Drooger started producing in 2005 under his Abject nom de plume, before joining forces with William Rebergen to form Headhunterz in 2006. Releases such as 'Scantraxx Rootz' and 'End of My Existence' followed. But his most successful period began in 2008 when he adopted the Frontliner moniker.

Having scored landmarks such as ‘Save.Exit.Planet’, the Official 2010 In Qontrol anthem, and ‘Call of the Visionary’, Official 2011 Reverze anthem, he founded his own record label, Keep It Up Music, as a channel for his prolific output in 2012.

He’s been using this platform to full effect this summer with a project called The Summer of Frontliner. “I released 14 tracks, one every week, during summer. It was such a cool project to do.”

Despite this highly visible output, he professes both surprise and delight at his Top 100 ranking. “I thought I didn’t care about your Top 100, but I must say that it feels really good knowing so many people go to the effort to vote. I feel honoured to have such great fans.”
