Firebeatz
| NEW ENTRY

Firebeatz believe their name says it all. Tim and Jurre pride themselves on delivering fierce productions and high energy DJ sets. They met as art students and established Firebeatz in 2008. Since, they’ve scored dancefloor hits and become an established name on the international circuit. Tim got into dance music at friends’ houses.

“When I was too young to go out. I was 14-years-old, they played mostly hip-hop/drum & bass and early dubstep. The last two were my first contact with dance music. Hearing that music was so mind-blowing because of the energy. That’s when I decided I wanted to create those sounds. I saved my money to buy turntables and started playing illegal parties.”

Jurre had played the drums since he was four-years-old. When he was 16 he started DJing at home and, after playing some birthdays, landed a residency at a local club as a warm-up DJ. These days you’re more likely to find them playing the world’s biggest festivals, such as Tomorrowland, EDC Vegas and Electric Zoo, when they’re not laying down the odd anthem in the studio.
