As hardstyle continues to gain traction with youthful audiences everywhere, someone at the sharp end of the aggressive musical genre is Wildstylez. Dutchman Joram Metekohy has been at it since 2007, most often on his own Lose Control Music. 

“I just want to release and bring the fans the music I like, and if we become a family along the way then that’s a big bonus,” he says of his label, adding, “My sound is always evolving. I always try to look forward and think outside the box and go outside the borders of musical genres”.

His year has been spent headlining the likes of DefQon.1 and Dance Valley in the Netherlands, as well as collaborating as often as possible. This year his biggest release was ‘Straightforward/Back To History’, whilst he also remixed Japanese rock band, Vamps.

“I’m working on a new vocal track with a very cool female vocalist who is hailing from the US,” he says of future projects.
