At the time of going to press, The Chainsmokers’ 'Selfie' had already clocked up a frankly astounding 224,324,676 views on YouTube. Say what you will about the track’s critique of modern-day culture, but there’s no doubting that it’s elevated the boys into the limelight in a manner that they could never have anticipated. 

Even their marketing campaign for this very poll reached six figures on YouTube — proof indeed that Andrew Taggart and Alex Pal are big business right now. Signed to Steve Aoki’s all-encompassing Dim Mak label (which ironically, surely wouldn’t advocate any sort of ‘chain smoking’) and with recent efforts including the cheekily titled 'Kanye', we’re pretty confident you’ll be hearing a lot more about this US duo for some time yet…
