Permanent fixtures in the Top 100 DJs poll since 2012, 2018 has been another monumental year for high-flying Australian EDM sisters, Liv and Mim, who again place as the highest women in the poll. There have been headline sets everywhere, which means crowds wowed at events such as Tomorrowland, Cream Ibiza, Ultra Singapore and DJ Mag’s Miami Pool Party, but that’s really only part of the story.

“It has been another crazy year of touring with lots of NERVOnation parties around the world, residencies with Ushuaïa in Ibiza, Omnia and Hakkasan in Las Vegas, LIV in Miami,” they tell DJ Mag. “We lived in Ibiza for the summer, and did around 160 shows [worldwide]. Next year the aim is to slow down a bit, create more balance and of course more music!” You can add to those shows a slew of top releases, not least ‘What Would You Do For Love’ and standout collaborations ‘Best Friend’, with Sofi Tukker, and ‘Give It All Up’ with Angger Dimas. The latter dropped on their own Got Me Baby! imprint, which celebrates its second birthday this year. Busy times indeed, providing a strong argument to support the theory that good things will always come to those who work.
