Alesso, the 30-year-old Swedish DJ and producer, has consistently featured in the Top 100 list since 2011. His ten-year perfect run is undoubtedly due to his understanding of what makes dancefloors work and how to bring that energy to millions of people every year. After his 2020 releases received significant acclaim, including ‘Midnight’ — the Liam Payne collaboration, charting in Sweden — Alesso has released three new huge singles in 2021.
Possessing elements of progressive trance, ‘Leave A Little Love’ with Armin van Buuren was a smash hit before ‘Going Dumn’, Alesso’s collaboration with Chinese musician Corsak and K-pop group Stray Kids, debuted at No.12 on Billboard’s Hot Dance chart. And his Marshmello collaboration ‘Chasing Stars’ — which features English singer James Bay — has already racked up 3.1m views on YouTube alone.
Over the years, Alesso has worked with Calvin Harris, Usher, David Guetta and headlined Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland, and he’s sure to keep expanding his portfolio as we roll into 2022.
