"Life is full of surprises," say Beauz. "Planning is crucial, but always be ready to adapt to sudden changes." Sibling duo Johan and Bernie Yang, musically speaking, have made plenty of changes this year. The majority of their music to date has had beautiful melodies, euphoric chords and melancholic moods. However, this year the duo — who are of Indonesian and Chinese heritage — spent five months in Indonesia making "dancefloor bangers" to drop at live shows. "We want the world to know that our musical style isn’t one-dimensional — we’re thuggin’!"
They finally dropped a collaboration with Zedd that has been four years in the making, and also returned to North America for their first ever headline tour after spending the pandemic in Asia: "It was truly surreal to be able to reunite with Zedd in Vegas for his birthday and all the friends and fans we haven’t seen for years all throughout North America.” They promise that they have already scheduled enough music for fans "to dance to for the whole of next year" and that, "the best is yet to come!”
