A DMX mural has been painted in Yonkers, New York.
The mural of the late rapper — real name Earl Simmons — who passed away in April this year following a heart attack, was created by artist Floyd Simmons and unveiled by the Mayor of Yonkers, Mike Spano, last week.
Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and more paid tribute to the rapper DMX during the BET Awards, which took place on Sunday 27th June at the Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles.
Snoop Dogg has joined Def Jam as Executive Creative and Strategic Consultant.
The legendary rapper will "strategically work across the label's executive team and artist roster," according to a video announcement posted to social media yesterday, Monday 7th June.

Co-produced by Avenue Beatz and X's longtime friend and collaborator Swiss Beatz, the tune features appearances from Conway the Machine, Benny the Butcher, and Griselda's Westside Gunn. The track is taken from the 'Exodus' album, which arrives Friday 28th May.
