The second volume of PC Music's self-titled compilation series is set to drop 18th November.
Featuring a mixture of released and unreleased material — most notabley Danny L Harle's smash hit 'Broken Flowers' — the album will bring together tracks from label boss A.G. Cook, Hannah Diamond, Felicita, China's Chris Lee and more.
In celebration of the release, PC Music will hold showcase events at Heaven nightclub in London on 30th November and legendary Berlin hotspot, Berghain, on 1st December.
Many people saw it coming, but the internet label on everyone’s lips— a source of glossy, skewed pop hits (and for some, irritation) has just announced its signing to Columbia Records.
The (very PC Music) statement that the art-pop collective has posted on Facebook reads: “A new, perfect breed of major label. A new, highly advanced pop weapon. We’re very excited to announce our partnership with Columbia Records, a truly ancient industry legend.”
SOPHIE is to release a new eight-track project on Numbers.
‘Product’ includes the PC Music-affiliated producer’s two previous 12” on Numbers along with four new tracks.
SOPHIE’s last release, ‘Lemonade’, came out in August 2014, since then the producer has been working with Madonna and Le1f.
‘Product’ is due for release on 17th November.
