Amelie Lens will play all-night long at revered Amsterdam venue Shelter.
Hot off the back of the release of her new EP 'Little Robot' on September 13th, Belgian techno titan Amelie Lens has announced a seven hour set in Amsterdam on September 20th.
Shelter has a 24-hour licence, so while Lens is scheduled to play from 11PM through to 6AM, there's a strong possibility the party could go deeper into the morning.
Marcel Dettmann will host a 20-hour techno marathon at Amsterdam’s Shelter club during ADE.
Taking place from 16th to 20th October 2019, ADE will run both day and night programs which includes talks, art, film, photography and technology as well as live music and club nights.
At age 26, Porter Robinson already stands as one of America’s greatest, most ambitious producers of his generation. From his humble beginnings as a self-taught bedroom producer, Robinson has risen to a level of creativity and artistry all his own, continuously challenging the electronic status quo and transforming his sound over and over again.

Released in 2012, ‘Language’ is the first indication of Robinson’s transition from his in-your-face complextro and dubstep style toward a more melodic-based sound. The dreamlike track follows a pop-oriented structure that was largely missing in Robinson’s discography. The result is a slice of cinematic alternative electronic pop that felt new and exciting and completely unexpected from Robinson. ‘Language’ would go on to top the overall Beatport and iTunes Dance charts, spearheading Robinson’s new creative direction.
It’s difficult to fully reflect on the influence of ‘Worlds’, Robinson’s 2014 debut album, because we’re still reeling from its impact. A response to the tired, formulaic commercial EDM dominating the global scene, ‘Worlds’ was Robinson’s attempt to change the course of an entire genre and scene. He succeeded.

"Hello and welcome to Amsterdam. This is Dr. Professor San Proper. This is my home and I was born here in 1977." Somewhere in the centre of the Dutch city, San Proper has hijacked DJ Mag's dictaphone, and we're in hot pursuit as he makes his way to a party showcasing his work by the Children Of The Light collective - made up of artists/designers Bart Hess, Gilles de Brock and Boris Tellegen - where he wants to collect some records for tonight's 20 years of Rush Hours show at revered nightspot, Shelter.

The original track was such a success the two artists launched a whole Shelter Live Tour off the back of it, and fans have even gone to the lengths of making an entire film based on the shows.

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) took over the Dutch capital for five days between Wednesday 19th and Sunday 23rd October, for one of the biggest weekends of electronic music on the annual calendar.
Over 2,200 artists played more than 450 events across 120 of the best clubs, bars and venues in the city, as a relentless barrage of the world’s best parties all took place en masse.
One thing that came clear through the five days of raves is that, in terms of a quality to volume ratio, nobody does nightclubs quite like Amsterdam.
Ravers will have a fresh place to party at this year's Amsterdam Dance Event, as new nightclub Shelter opens with Jackmaster and Moodymann in the booth.
Set up by three veterans of the 'Dam club scene (previous experience includes AIR, Trouw and LET), the 700-capacity subterranean venue is located underground on the IJ riverbank.
Set to offer a mixture of house, techno and leftfield bookings, the space launches on Thursday 20th October with the aforementioned superstar DJs, plus local hero Tom Trago.
