Poll Clubs 2019: SKY GARDEN

Location: Kuta, Bali, Indonesia

Capacity: 5,000

Imagine starting your night on Sky Garden’s famous rooftop: sipping cold beer and munching delicious all-you-can-eat buffet (for under £5) beneath the stars of Bali, while watching action movies on the nearby big screen or taking in panoramic views of the impressive skyline as a local DJ provides the beats. From there it’s time to head downstairs for insane VIP bottle service, as international stars like Dash Berlin, Steve Aoki, Yellow Claw, Axwell, Don Diablo, R3hab, Bassjackers and Afrojack regularly play on crystal clear Funktion-One speakers, while world-class visuals blast you into oblivion. It’s a reality at this massive venue, which contains as many as five rooms — a far cry from its humble beginnings as a rooftop juice bar in 2005.

Though Sky Garden has undergone constant renovations and improvements since then, upgrading its lights, sound, and decór, while continuing to bring the biggest acts from around the globe for an affordable all-in-one experience found hardly anywhere else. It’s no wonder Sky Garden keeps making the cut — this venue is in the clouds.

Five different clubbing experiences under one roof (and on the roof itself), Bali’s Sky Garden is a breath-taking complex that keeps growing and developing every year since it opened as a rooftop juice bar in 2005. In the last year alone, all five rooms have been upgraded with new lights, screens and Funktion One systems and even the $10 all-you-can-eat buffet has been remixed with new international chefs. The DJs have been cooking up a storm, too. Since entering the Top 100 last year, Sky Garden — which is open 364 days a year — has welcomed the likes of Dash Berlin, Steve Aoki, Lucas & Steve, Afrojack, Yellow Claw, Mike Williams, Bassjackers and many more to play. How will it develop next year? The sky’s the limit!

Poll Clubs 2017: SKY GARDEN

Sky Garden began life as a humble rooftop garden, juice and sandwich bar in 2005 with decks and two small speakers. It’s now a four-storey, five-venue, fully Funktion One-fitted complex that offers everything from all-you-can-eat BBQ to a festival-style mainstage by way of rooftop VIP lounges and an Irish bar. Talent-wise, take your pick. In the last year the likes of Steve Aoki, Axwell, Afrojack, Nervo and many many more have played. There’s enough room for all the best DJs as every night is party night. Literally… the only day Sky Garden is not open is Nyepi, the Balinese Day Of Silence. Fresh from a recent $2million refit, the sky really is the limit.
