Amy Dabbs will debut on Heist Recordings later this week with her ‘Only Breaks Can Love Your Heart’ EP. Have an exclusive first listen to the title track below.

Coming off the back of releases on Aus Music, Shall Not Fade, and her own Dabbs Traxx, London-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Amy Dabbs joins Heist Recordings with an agile and assertive inventory of movers.

Across five tracks, the Special Request-tipped producer swerves from classic house-adjacent jams to 160+ BPM breaks badness on her most adventurous outing to date. A1 ‘Everything Alright’ leads off on an emotive and ravey tip, bolstered by vocals from Belfast-via-London singer Aika Mal, before Heist label heads Dam Swindle takes the remix reigns, trading balmy pads for a supple UKG pulse.

‘Eleven Eleven Twenty Two’ and B1 ‘Crush’ are hypnotic house movers that call back to the classic grooves and velvety basslines of 2022’s ‘Four Track Mind’ EP, while the title track leads the project to its apex amongst sunlit chords and 90s R&B textures.

Dabbs’ Heist debut joins recent releases from Crackazat, Cinthie, Krewcial, Orlando Voom, Byron The Aquarius, and more on the eccentric Amsterdam-based label.
