Gearmaster will release a new EP, ‘30003 (HA07)’, next week. Have an exclusive first listen to Holly Lester’s remix of ‘Sugarworld’ below.

The Tallinn-based duo – comprised of Steffan Todorović and Joonas Arro – reboot the Gestalt Records sublabel, Hidden Assets, with three hefty slabs of acid and an equally chugging selection of remixes.

Landing on 26th April, the package features reworks from the likes of Paperkraft, Pletnev, Faktor-X, Jeku, and more, who inject Gearmaster’s original mixes with flourishes of tech house, tunnelling acid, bass, and prog.

Amongst them is Northern Irish DJ turned producer Holly Lester, who flips ‘Sugarworld’ into a slice of left-leaning, driving house music. Brimming with freewheeling synths and moody basslines, and stretching across a mighty nine-minute run time, the track marks Lester’s debut foray into production and comes loaded with the same percussive fervour as her DJ sets, which have taken her to AVA Festival, Printworks, Warehouse Project and beyond.

Catch the Duality Trax label boss performing later this summer at 212 ° F festival in Switzerland, Secretsundaze presents: Multi Multi 2024, and AVA’s 10th anniversary event.

‘30003 (HA07)’ is out 26th April. Pre-save the EP here, and have an exclusive first listen to ‘Sugarworld (Holly Lester Remix)’ below.
