Back To Yours: Nick Curly

Ready for the after party? WE ARE!

In our Apple Music playlist series, some of our favourite DJs guide us through a selection of their ultimate afterparty tunes. This week's it's Nick Curly.

In celebration of Nick's new EP 'Amnezia' we asked him to carefully dig through his collection.

Check out his selection below.

1) Der Dritte Raum- 'Hale Bob'

"The track is from 2002 and in my eyes is a master piece with its arpeggio loop and its endless groove."

2) Peace Division –‘Revival’

"This track speaks for itself and would be at home in any after hours playlist. When I had the chance I was so excited to land these guys on my 8Bit label for their 3 corners EP. Its a shame they have now split up but the song itself will go and keep getting played again and again such is its class."

3) Mr V - Jus Dance In The Dance (Ritual mix)

"One of my all time favourite tracks and one that you will catch me playing a lot, Mr V - Jus dance in the dance ritual mix. It has that sexy sophisticated vibe and it is the sort of track that can reenergise a room instantly and lift the atmosphere."

4) Caged baby - 'Hello there (Radioslave Remix)'

"Sometimes a vocal can be the game changer and that is exactly what this track provides its super emotional. The genius of Caged baby remixed by Matt Edwards in his Radioslave guise is the perfect match."

5) Bobby Konders – 'Nervous Acid'

"A groovy, liquid banger that is not only psychedelic but very fun and danceable as well. It doesn't try too hard to be an epic Big Room House track (Big Room House didn't exist back then, mind you). And the track doesn't try to hard to be something that it is not. Love it!!"

6) Underworld – 'Two months off (John Ciafone Vocal remix)'

"A remix, by one half of production maestros, Mood II Swing. This is the sort of track that gets every one from 0 – 100 in a matter of seconds. I love using this towards the end of my sets as I know everyone leaves the venue happy and satisfied how could you not."

6) Chez Damier - 'Untitled (Side B1)'

"This Chez Damier tune is electric from start to finish with its melodic tune running throughout its definitely a crowd pleaser. It isn’t a heavy tune but it still commands that respect that all quality tunes garner. No ones leaving early for this one."

7) Johnny D - 'Scope Of Mind'

'A record released on my own 8bit label this is Johnny D – Scope of Mind. Hypnotic and rolling, it’s electronic music as its best.'

8) Steffen Deux – 'Cold Water'

"Another big tune by another Mannheim DJ. We are really lucky in Mannheim that we have a massive pool of talent creating quality tunes over and over. Cold Water isn’t flashy it doesn’t try to be it’s a slow steady tune that’s enchants you with its slow and sensual build up engaging the listener right to the end. A perfect after party tune."

9) Chez Damier - 'Untitled (Side B1)'

"This Chez Damier tune is electric from start to finish with its melodic tune running throughout its definitely a crowd pleaser. It isn’t a heavy tune but it still commands that respect that all quality tunes garner. No ones leaving early for this one."

10) Johannes Volk – 'Inferno'

"I am a big fan of this track, the strong rhythm and beeps reflect the title of the track perfectly, it is an inferno of synths and bass to making an absolute weapon of a tune. Johannes Volk is a top producer and I could of chosen a number of his tracks but this one just claimed the top prize."
