SPACE IBIZA FINAL CLOSING PARTY: 57 MASSIVE TRACKS

Multiple bangers worthy of the end of an era...

Space Ibiza’s final closing party last Sunday (2nd October) brought the end of an era on the White Isle, and left a huge hole in Balearic clubbing.

Over 27 years, the venue has nurtured artists as wide ranging as Carl Cox, Alfredo, David Guetta, Steve Lawler, Roger Sanchez, David Morales, James Zabiela, Danny Tenaglia and countless more.

Over 60 of them had the opportunity to bid farewell to the iconic venue at the final Closing Fiesta, and for each it offered a chance to dig deep into the history of the club and crate dig for classics old and new.

Not one DJ disappointed. And as the final bars of Angie Stone’s ‘Wish I Didn’t Miss You’ rang out as the closing track of Carl Cox’s last ever set at Space Ibiza, it was clear those present had not only witnessed the end of a clubbing institution, but also the close of a party that would go down in Ibizan folklore.

“Your love will remain here forever,” Cox enthused on the microphone as the final curtain came down. If you were lucky enough to be there, these 57 tracks should remind you of that little piece of love you left behind.
