Alison Wonderland launches label FMU Records with Jon Casey and Dabow single: Listen

Alison Wonderland has launched a new record label, FMU Records, with the release of a new single by South African artist Jon Casey and Dabow, titled, ‘I Surrender’. Check it out below.

According to the Sydney-based DJ and producer, FMU Records, aims to give up-and-coming producers the creative freedom to release their music the way they want to. ‘I Surrender’ by South African artist Jon Casey and Argentinian trap producer Dabow, is the first track to be released on the new label.

Speaking on the release, Casey said: “We listened to the song more than we worked on it at the time because we loved hearing it so much. The fact that it’s FMU’s first record is the biggest honour and I’m beyond hyped to get it out. Thank you Alison for believing in us the way you do.”

“'I Surrender' was meant to be a collab with Jon Casey from the minute it was started, feels special to be part of the first release on FMU Records,” Dabow said.

Accompanying the news of the label’s launch, Alison Wonderland has also announced the forthcoming debut LP under her Whyte Fang alias. Last year, she revived the former moniker with the release of three singles: ‘TIDES’, ‘333’ and ‘Girl’. Now, she has confirmed that the debut album will land in the spring of 2023, with a listening party set to take place in New York City on 10th March featuring a line-up of artists affiliated with FMU. Fans can sign up to learn more about the event here.

Alison Wonderland was voted No. 47 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll in 2022. Earlier this year, she also released a graphic novel inspired by her ‘Loner’ album.
