The A-Z of electronic, house and techno music book by Alpha-Beat

A new baby alphabet book, The A-Z of electronic, house and techno music, has been released by Alpha-Beat.

Described as a “respite from beige baby books”, it combines colourful illustrations with key terminologies to educate young readers on the world of electronic music by way of the alphabet. The A-Z of electronic, house and techno music spotlights a selection of iconic artists and legendary party spots including Aphex Twin, Carl Cox, Jeff MillsDaft Punk and The Haçienda, along with contemporary stars like The Blessed Madonna and Peggy Gou – “a musical fashionista who travels the world sharing her wonderful sounds on starry nights”.

“The transition to parenthood is tough, as you experience a new kind of ‘all-nighter’ where late-night dance floors transform into late-night nappy changes,” the book description reads. “When seeking to embrace this new reality, the glory days of youth may feel like a distant memory... Our books provide a glimmer of nostalgia for the new parent in your life and offer an amusing moment to be shared from one generation to the next.”

Initially released in February, The A-Z of electronic, house and techno music forms part of a growing series of music education books from UK company, Alpha-Beat, which also includes The A-Z of '90s Indie & Britpop.
