The "immersive experience" is a collaboration with Marcel Dettmann and visual artist Lars Murasch

Berghain bouncer Sven Maquardt is collaborating with Marcel Dettmann and Lars Murasch on a new audio-visual photography exhibition in Istanbul.

Supported by Goethe-Institut Istanbul, city venue Yapı Kredi bomontiada will host Marquardt's exhibition of club photography, NACHTBLENDE, which lends its focus to Berlin nightlife and its subcultures of the past 25 years. The exhibition will feature photographs of friends, colleagues, and acquaintances, including "a selected work" from East Berlin circa 1987.

To launch the exhibition's opening on Thursday 9th November, Marcel Dettman will perform a special live performance of his 'Slide' project tomorrow (9th November), which was created with visual artist Lars Murasch. The immersive experience comprises a digital image composition and is described as "a blend of sonic and visual elements that delves into the depths of human connection, artistic collaboration, and the passage of time".

NACHTBLENDE is free to visit and open between 9th and 26th November, 10.00 - 19.00 every day except Mondays.

In May, Marquardt held a photographic exhibition called DISTURBING BEAUTY during New York Art Week at ArtsDistrict Brooklyn, in collaboration with underground event planners Teksupport.
