Massive Attack and Aphex Twin are headlining Mexico’s Ceremonia Festival, according to the latest line-up announcement.

The one-day event will take place in Toluca, close to Mexico City, on 6th April at Foro Pegaso. The same venue was used for last year's Ultra Mexico

In addition to the two renowned UK electronic acts, the bill also includes Modeselektor live, Rosalía, DJ Koze, Jon Hopkins live, blissed-out funk favourites Khruangbin and hyper-political Russian crew, Pussy Riot. Tickets are on sale now from the official website.

Mexico City's electronic music scene is in rude health at the moment, with new independent FM station, Aire Libre, recently setting up, EDC Mexico 2019 long-since confirmed and underground venues like Yu Yu going from strength to strength. Those unable to make it to Ceremonia, or the city, might want to check Massive Attack's UK tour instead, which marks 21 years since the release of their 1998 masterpiece, 'Mezzanine' and features a visual collaboration with Cocteau Twins’ Elisabeth Fraser. The dates kick off later this month.
