Tiësto has remixed the White Lotus theme tune, 'Renaissance'.
The title theme from the second season of the hit HBO show was written by Chilean-Canadian composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer, with Tiësto plumping up the tune into an EDM floorfiller for its first official remix, which had already gone viral on TikTok. “As a huge fan of The White Lotus I couldn’t be more excited to be releasing the official remix,” says Tiësto. “I was instantly hooked on the theme song so I had to put my spin on it for my live sets... every time I play it, the crowd goes crazy! I’m thrilled HBO wanted to partner and make it official.”
The remix follows Tiësto’s latest single, '10:35,' co-created with multi-platinum singer/songwriter Tate McRae for the Dutch producer's forthcoming album 'Drive.'
Back in 2021, a Tiësto fan’s ashes were fired from a confetti cannon at Creamfields festival. 30-year-old Stuart Mitchell had been a fan of Tiësto, and his trance anthem ‘Adagio for Strings’ had been played at his funeral.
