Deorro
| RE-ENTRY

From: Los Angeles, CA

DJ style: “Latin EDM.”

Best known for: “‘Five Hours’, ‘Perdoname’, ‘Yo Las Pongo’, ‘Flashlight’, ‘Bailar’.”

LA born and bred house producer and DJ Deorro’s first major label release was on Hardwell’s Revealed label back in 2013, with his high-impact festival super-charger ‘Yee'Now signed to Ultra, Deorro has since made a name for himself as a reliable source of fluorescent, radioactive main-stage EDM that alternates between thudding low-end/unearthly synth grooves and eye-popping, hair-raising breaks and drops. He’s amassed an impressive back catalogue including remixing Steve Aoki, Marshmello and Laidback Luke and working with artists like Tiësto and Dirty Audio.

Big singles for Deorro this year have included his psychedelic-EDM crowd-pleaser ‘Hands Up’ with Dave Mag and Scheffwell. The proud Mexican-American has also continued to champion Latin EDM, blending electronic music with his beloved musical heritage. This has included his collaboration with Stafford Brothers, ‘Cascabel’ feat. Alé Kumá & G4bba, mixing up Mexican music with space-age twisted synth riffs, huge beats and monumental breakdowns, and his Aoki-collaboration, their euphoric big room remix of Mexican-American singer Ángela Aguilar ‘Invítame A Un Café’. As Deorro says of his continuing mission: “Fusing regional Mexican Music with EDM, there's a lot of great rhythms and ideas to explore — it's exciting!”
