Meet DJ Majesty, a current ambassador for the renaissance of deep house and techno sounds emerging from the London capital since it began to conquer the clubs all over the city again. Like many a '80s baby Majesty grew up in the era of acid and drum & bass, and has a substantial history of producing UKG sounds, he has extracted from all of these influences to create the deep, dubby but melodic house and techno music he fills the clubs and warehouses with today. \
“I just love the vibe house music gives everyone in the club. That’s why I make it. It allows people to express themselves, let loose and just have fun. It brings together people all all-walks of life, that’s another reason I love it. The following is just so diverse,” says Majesty. Since his upsurge in the UK House royal family, Majesty has an impressive back catalogue of releases with the likes of Kumasi, King Street Records, Mad Tech Records and more distributing and spreading his unique music to the masses. The triumph of these releases has seen Majesty take his Djin’ expertise across the country and branching into various regions of Europe. This has certified him being a firm stander amongst the leaders of the UK's deep house and techno scenes.
A pioneering creative of the Brit Dance circuit, Majesty is in the elite of UK house producer/DJs whilst juggling being the co-founder and curator of successful Event brand and Record Label AudioWhore alongside fellow DJ pal Steven Cee. AudioWhore started small with the likes of Dakar & Ali Love performing before exploding and attractive over a whopping 25,000 people since its inaugural event and now attracting some of the trendiest names within the House music stratosphere including MK, Krankbrothers, Leftwing & Kody to mention a mere few. On a typical AudioWhore night you can be sure to revel in a line up of outstanding dance captains, captivated by the outlandish stage lighting whilst getting in to the groove of straight four to the floor house material.
With forthcoming releases planned with Nurvous, Blue Dye and Simma Black records along with managing the 10th release on the Audiowhore imprint (check this website for more info), Majesty managed to take time out of his stiff production schedule to mix an exclusive mix for us, free for download for you guys.
Audiowhore 4th Bday weekender is on Friday 13th & Saturday 14th March @ The Coronet Theatre and is a must-go for newcomers to the sound and loyal die-hard deep house ravers!
