LATIN AMERICA’S BEST CLUBS

Top 100 Clubs, powered by Miller Genuine Draft

It has been a huge year for Latin America in this year’s Top 100 Clubs poll, with new venues from across the region making themselves known on the global stage. This combined with the continued dominance of Brazilian clubs demonstrate that South America is a red hot place for dance music right now.

These are Latin America’s Best clubs - as voted for by you...

BAUM
Located in Bogota, the capital of Colombia with a population of nearly seven million people, Baum brings some of the best underground DJs to the heart of the city on a weekly basis. Recent jocks to roll up and roll out at Baum have included Lee Burridge, Audiofly, DJ W!ld, Magda, Carl Craig, Tiga and Metro Area, while Baum now are not content with bringing some of the most quality names in the global scene to Bogota.

ALTROMONDO STUDIOS
The go-to venue in Panama for authentic house and techno, the brains behind Teatro Amador have a hold on Panama City's vibrant nightlife. Located at the Casco Antiguo in a building built in 1908, there’s always a line at Teatro, with everyone from local live bands, South American superstars and international selectors spinning during the summer. Most recently, Milan-based house crew Flashmob and Life and Death boss DJ Tennis have flashed their wares on the club's outdoor terrace.

LOST BEACH CLUB
With a capacity of up to 4000 clubbers, depending on how many of its three soundsystems are switched on, this Ecuadorian beachside venue with a massive Funktion One stack remains the top pick for the many who visit for obvious reasons. More interested in top-tier underground DJ talent than EDM megastars, the likes of Soul Clap, Steve Bug and Damian Lazarus have entertained an educated dance crowd here in the past 12 months. The clue's in the title; this is the ultimate place to get lost.

LA HUAKA
La Huaka is Peru's answer to Ibiza’s DC10. Their rustic terracotta terrace is the home of minimal titans including Dubfire, Barem and Carlos Lio, who reopened the venue back in January. Since then Nic Fanciulli, Joris Voorn, John Digweed, Kaiserdisco and Cassy have all been invited to play in this tropical sunset club where the carnivalesque vibe is always downright sexy.
