Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann has revealed plans for a new double EP, 'Test-File', landing via Ostgut Ton. The EP is his first formal release in five years.
'Test-File' is the German DJ and producer’s first effort for the label since 2013's 'Dettmann II' LP and, according to the label, sees him exploring more improvisational territory.
At the start of 2018, Ostgut’s experimental A-TON sub-label invited Dettmann to collaborate with Felix K, Sa Pa and Simon Hoffmann to interpret the work of photographer Friederike von Rauch, whose subject matter is images of post-World War II European monasteries.
