Nina Kraviz shares dizzying new remix

Nina Kraviz has revealed her new remix of ‘Blue Train Lines’ from English duo Mount Kimbie. 

The rework is part of a remix package, set for release this May, from Mount Kimbie’s recent album, ‘Love What Survives’, which was released on Warp Records last year. Split over two EPs, the remix bundle also includes contributions from Marcel Dettmann, Gerd Janson and Ellen Allien. 

The first part of the bundle, out 4th May, features three remixes of album track ‘Blue Train Lines’ from Kraviz including an 8-minute Main Mix and two more DJ tool versions. The second half of the bundle, out 11th May, features two takes on album opener ‘Four Years and One Day’, one from Marcel Dettmann and the other from Gerd Janson, as well as Ellen Allien’s remix of ‘T.A.M.E.D’. 

Mount Kimbie kick off a short European tour tomorrow, where they’re performing b2b DJ sets with Actress. The duo will also trek across North America for a full live band tour throughout May. 

Kraviz, one of Russia’s biggest DJs, is also keeping busy with a packed tour schedule, which this year sees her performing at Dimensions in Croatia, EXIT Festival in Serbia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Movement in Detroit, a ТРИП label showcase at OFFSónar in Barcelona and many more festivals.
