Premiere: Community Theater ‘Let Me Party (Escaflowne Remix)’

Community Theater (Chrissy and Maria Amor) debut on Sorry Records with four ‘80s electro pop and Hi-NRG disco bangers. Hear Escaflowne’s two-step garage twist on ‘Let Me Party’ now

Premiere: Community Theater ‘Let Me Party (Escaflowne Remix)’

Chrissy and Maria Amor have teamed up as Community Theater for a new release on NYC’s Sorry Records.

Born from both artists' love of the ‘80s freestyle genre, which blended pop songwriting with electro production, 'Having Everything’ is a four-track burst of Hi-NRG disco pop with an added pinch of crunchy drums. Lisbon’s Maria Amor’s infectious vocals soar above irresistibly nostalgic productions, aiming straight for dancefloors lit by disco balls, neon lights and glitter. It's so fun it hurts.

The EP comes paired with four remixes courtesy of Escaflowne, Bianca Oblivion, Violet and Shcuro, who all sound like they’re having an absolute blast reworking these unabashedly playful cuts. You can hear Escaflowne’s two-step garage take on ‘Let Me Party’ below.

'Having Everything' will be released this Friday, 1st April. Pre-order it here.
