Denham Audio makes his long overdue solo debut on Club Glow four cuts of rough, rowdy breaks and jungle
Denham Audio will release his long overdue solo EP on the Club Glow label he co-runs with Borai and LMajor, Mani Festo and Borai this week. Listen to ‘Missing You’ below.
In keeping with the Club Glow catalogue, the four tracks on ‘Thirty Eight Snub’ pull lovingly from classic UK hardocre, jungle and rave forms with future-facing techniques. On the A-Side, ‘Could Be’ samples Brandy’s ‘I Wanna Be Down (a lá Blawan’s Getting Me Down’)’ over a snapping breakbeat, while the title track features an ice-cold guest vocal from MC Trim.
On the B-Side, ‘U Give Me’ and ‘Missing You’ are high-voltage rave bangers, with the latter closing proceedings with a stuttering jungle flourish.
