Premiere: DJ Manny ‘Feet Start Dancing’

DJ Manny returns to London-via-Paris label Moveltraxx this month with the ‘Feet Start Dancing’ EP. Listen to the title track below. 

Almost five years since his last release on the imprint, 2018’s ‘Can’t Get Enough’ EP, the Chicago-born, New York-based footwork artist dishes up five cuts that demonstrate his distinctly hypnotic, R&B-inflected take on the genre. Following on from his loved-up 2021 album, ‘Signals In My Head’ on Planet Mu, the Teklife affiliate and DJ Rashad protegé mixes raw juke drums and nimble rhythms with bubbling keys, velvety vocal samples and lush strings to craft a suite of tracks that are as beautiful as they are bouncy.
