Los Angeles-based producer and DJ Introspekt will release her new EP, ‘I Know U Want Me’, via Leeds' Gimme A Break Records this Friday, 18th February. Hear the title track below.
Heavily inspired by underground UK dance music, the four tracks on ‘I Know U Want Me’ pull lovingly from UKG, dubstep, grime and jungle. Following appearances on London’s Threads Radio, Balamii and Lobster Theremin’s Rinse FM show, as well as a contribution to Juke Bounce Werk’s ‘JBDUBZ Vol. 9’ comp, ‘I Know U Want Me’ is a striking first release of the year from the fast-rising producer.
The EP’s title track is a tantalising two-step belter that marries its tough rhythmic backbone to a delicious, hooky refrain. Pure slap the ceiling material.
