Premiere: La Kajofol ‘The Afterlife’
The French DJ and producer merges fast-paced techno and psytrance elements with her own choral vocals on Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE
La Kajofol will release a new EP, ‘Darkly Yours’, via Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE label this week. Listen to ‘The Afterlife’ below.
The French DJ and producer follows up a string of solo tracks and collaborations on her own NŸX Records with two tracks that merge fast-paced techno and psytrance elements with her own vocals. The release marks the second EP on ARTCORE, following Paganotto’s own Guns & Horses from June 2022.
‘The Afterlife’ opens with layers of choral singing over a fizzing bed of synth and bells, calling to mind Moya Brennan’s voice on Chicane’s trance classic saltwater, before thunderous techno kicks crash into the mix alongside a classic psytrance bassline.
