Premiere: Lexer ‘Closemouthed’
Lexer debuts on Purified Records with a transcendent slice of melodic house raising awareness of climate-action projects

Coming off the back of releases for labels including Bedrock, Oddity and This Never Happened, the German DJ and producer debuts on the Nora En Pure-helmed Purified Records with a soaring new single. A regular in En Pure’s recent global DJ sets,‘Closemouthed’ – out 24th May – is equal parts toe-tapping and transcendent, pairing its wistful synth work and supercharged claps with an ecstatic prog house breakdown built to entice hands towards the heavens.
The single is the first in a series of Purified releases in collaboration with Australian underwater photographer Daniel Nicholson and planet-focused platform, OnlyOne. Hoping to shine a spotlight on our oceans and the challenges they are facing, the ‘Closemouthed’ artwork features a vivid shot of corals on the ocean floor, and will be accompanied by ocean and marine life data provided by OnlyOne.
