Mni Festo will release a new EP, ‘Hunterr’, this week via New Zealand’s HAVEN label. Listen to ‘Machine’ below.

The London-based DJ and producer follows up appearances on RuptureLDN, Unknown To The Unknown and his own Flightpath label in 2023 with four cuts of classic hardcore-inspired techno material, bolstered by a remix from Peder Mannerfelt.

It’s some of the most directly techno-influenced stuff the multifaceted producer has released, but as with everything he does, there’s myriad ingredients from across the hardcore continuum chucked into its blender, from twisted breakbeats to Drexciyan electro sizzles. This is big-room ready stuff – particularly Mannerfelt’s thundering rework of the title track – but will feel just as at home blasting out the speakers of yr favourite DIY club.

Mani Festo recently contributed to EQ50’s 23-track jungle and drum & bass compilation in aid of Gaza. Find out more about that here.  Revisit his 2021 DJ Mag Recognise mix and interview here.

‘Hunterr’ will be released tomorrow, 15th March. Buy it here.
